Acceleration due to gravity [tex]g=32.8ft/sec^2[/tex]

We have to find final velocity v

From third equation of motion

[tex]v^2=u^2+2gh[/tex]

So [tex]v^2=18^2+2\times 32.8\times 50=3543.82[/tex]

v = 59.53m/sec

From first equation of motion we know that

v= u+gt

So [tex]59.53=18+32.8\times t[/tex]

t = 1.297 sec
