Area formula of a triangle is:
A = [tex] \frac{1}{2} [/tex]bh
We know the are and the height, so substitute to find the base
900 m² = [tex] \frac{1}{2} [/tex] × b × 60 m
900 = 30b
Divide by 30 to isolate b
[tex] \frac{900}{30} = \frac{30b}{30} [/tex]
30 and 30 cancels out
b = 30 m

Base of this triangle is 30 m
