They are two different lines. They intersect each other at the origin

The lines are straight, and not parallel or perpendicular.

Together, they cross at the origin, and make a big crooked letter-X .

The first one slopes up, with a rise of 2 verticals for each horizontal.

The second one slopes down, with a fall of 3 verticals for each horizontal.
