A person's willingness to break a law depends most strongly on theory beliefs and the social contract. The social contract theory is an idea that a person basis his or her moral beliefs on a contract or agreement they have with society. These ideas are social norms that everyone within their society should be abiding by and are legally binding and in some cases, unspoken laws that people follow.
