Answer:

AB = CD

5 - x^2 = -6x + 13

- x^2 - 8 = -6x

- x^2 + 6x - 8 = 0

x^2 - 6x + 8 = 0

Because 2 * 4 = 8 and 2 + 4 = 6

the solutions are

x = 2 or x = 4

You can also use the pq or abc-formula to solve a quadratic equation.
