I think it is rather to burn, melt or boil!!
It depends on the sentence too!! For example if you are saying: Bruuuuh, its to cold, I'm freezing; Then you can say: Its too hot, I'm burning.
According to my chemistry class, freezing happen when the matter change its form, from liquid to solid; Meanwhile melting happen when the matter change its form, from solid to liquid.
