There are three possibilities for a line and plane:

1).  The line is in the plane.  ALL of the line's points are points
of the plane.

2).  The line is parallel to the plane.  NONE of the line's points
are points of the plane.

3).  The line intersects the plane.  If they intersect, then the intersection
is exactly one single point.
