l - length

19 ft - width

62 ft - perimeter

l + l + 19 + 19 = 2l + 38 - perimeter

The equation:

2l + 38 = 62    subtract 38 from both sides

2l = 24     divide both sides by 2

l = 12 ft

Answer: The length = 12 ft.
