I need to find a number that the "n" represents. The problem is 9/12=n/32

The given equation is

[tex]\frac{9}{12} = \frac{n}{32}[/tex]

Here we have to solve for n. First we need to get rid of the denominators and for that we do cross multiplication .

[tex]9*32 = 12n[/tex]

Now we need to isolate n. And for that we need to get rid of 12, by dividing both sides by 12

[tex]\frac{9*32}{12}=n[/tex]

[tex]\frac{288}{12} =n[/tex]

[tex]n=24[/tex]

And that's the required value of n .
