To figure out if something is in ascending order it must go from the least value to the greatest. .04 is a relatively small number. 3/4 can be converted into a decimal which is 0.75. So far so good, 0.8 is greater than 0.75. However when we reach 7/10, the decimal for that is 0.7 which is less than 0.8. This means that this problem is not in ascending order.
