This is only partially true. The Middle East is composed of twenty two countries, it extendes from Turkey to Oman and from Iran to Yemen. The Arab League is composed also of 22 members, but not all of them are in the Middle East Region, some are as far west as Morocco or Mauritania, and to the south also, with country members like Somalia.
