[tex]32\frac{2}{9}+23\frac{4}{9}[/tex]

First add the whole numbers together and then add the top numbers of the fraction to get your answer. Simplify once you do that.

[tex]32\frac{2}{9}+23\frac{4}{9}=55\frac{2+4}{9} =55\frac{6}{9} =55\frac{2}{3}[/tex]

Hope that helps!
