keeping in mind that there are 5280 feet in 1 mile and 60 minutes in an hour.

[tex] \bf \cfrac{8\underline{mi}}{\underline{h}}\cdot \cfrac{5280ft}{\underline{mi}}\cdot \cfrac{\underline{h}}{60min}\implies \cfrac{8\cdot 5280}{60}\cfrac{ft}{min}\implies 704~\frac{ft}{min} [/tex]

The answer is 704 feet/min. 1 mile is 5280 feet. So you could say 1 mph=5280 ft/hr. Divide 5280/60 to get 1mph= 88 ft/min. Multiply both sides by 8 (to answer your question and there ya go:)
