The height of the cylinder with volume of 18π and radius of 3 inches is 2 inches.

Volume of cylinder:

  • volume = πr²h

where

h = height

r = radius

Therefore,

h = ?

r = 3 inches

v = 18π

18π = π × 3² × h

18π = 9πh

divide both sides by 9π

h = 18π / 9π

h = 2 inches
